Cam-Line Plastic Lined Trunnion Ball Valve

Cam-Line Plastic Lined Trunnion Ball Valve

Product Description

Cam-Line plastic-lined trunnion ball valves offer the same proven design benefits as the Cam-Tite product line, including tight shut-off, reliable stem sealing, and unsurpassed torque reduction—all unique features in a plastic-lined ball valve design. With a special Tefzel lining and optional PVDF coating, Cam-Line ball valves are well suited for highly corrosive applications within the chemical processing industry such as sulfuric and hydrochloric acid.

Specifications

Size: 0.75-6" (DN20-150)
Pressure/Temperature Rating:
250 psi at 100˚F (38˚C)
235 psi at 200˚F (93˚C)
120 psi at 250˚F (121˚C)

Model Features

Unique beveled edge ball design:
  • Minimizes pressure on seats to reduce cold flow and extend seat life
  • Prevents issues related to “breakaway torque” in valves that rest in the open position for extended periods
  • Provides positive tight shut-off at both high and low pressures.
  • Inherently prevents seat damage caused by the leading edge of the ball port cutting into the seat
  • Significantly reduces operating torque
Superior stem seal assembly:
  • Low operating torque reduces lateral loads on the stem seals for reliable performance
  • Blow-out proof stem seal design.
  • Standard Belleville spring washers provide constant “live load” on stem seals, assuring a tight seal under varying service parameters
Trunnion shaft reduces the effects of lateral loading found in conventional ball valve

In-line maintenance facilitates reduced downtime and lowers overall cost of ownership
